The network of the National Technological Cluster Trasporti Italia is growing

After the recent entry into the Transport Cluster of Anas, Autostrade Tech (Movyon), Westpole, Telespazio and INTECS, the participation of new partners with Bureau Veritas, Faiveley Transport Italia, CIM4.0 and Drivesec is increasingly expanding. The new members will contribute to expanding the technological skills of the Cluster in the transport sector – one of the priorities of the new Action Plan to meet the new challenges facing the mobility sector. 

Bureau Veritas is a world-class operator that offers testing, inspection and certification (ICT) services for the assessment and analysis of risks related to quality, the environment, health, safety for transport and social responsibility. 

 Faiveley Transport  Italia  operates in the field of railway and bus engineering. The company designs, manufactures and distributes a wide range of advanced components, systems and services, while also offering maintenance services. 

Drivesec is an SME operating in the IT security sector that develops products and solutions to protect the world of the Internet of Things (IoT) from cyber attacks and to measure the levels of robustness of electronic equipment for the automotive sector subject to these kind of  cyber risks.
 
CIM4.0 is the Competence Center for Industry 4.0 with a network of 25 partners specialized in new technologies such as: Additive Manufacturing, Energy efficiency, Connectivity & Communication, Digital Twins, Big data analytics.

The entry of these new realities into the Cluster network testifies  the growing attention towards a dynamic associative activity, capable of triggering virtuous paths and synergies between the various supply chains but also capable of  identifying future research and innovation trajectories in the surface transport sector. The association, which has been  recognized by the MUR as a reference for the sector of vehicles and systems for land and sea surface mobility, has recently presented an Action Plan for the future of industry, vehicles and services of transport (PdA), which aims to encourage the development of a new model for mobility. The PdA intercepts the priorities defined in the PNRR and in the Next Generation EU and identifies actions and activities to be carried out in relation to technological roadmaps developed according to the macro-objectives for the road, rail and maritime transport sectors, as well as for the integrated transport services belonging to MIMS, MUR and the new Ministry for Energy Transition.
