Cluster Trasporti participates in public consultations on the National Research Program 2021-2027

Cluster Trasporti Italia 2020 joins the public consultations organized by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) for the definition of the National Research Program 2021-2027 (PNR). Until September, 11 th it’s possible to send your comments and proposals by filling out the questionnaire available on the website www.miur.gov.it or at the link
https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/MURPNR2127 .
At the end of the consultation period, the MUR will complete the drafting of the final document of the National Research Program 2021-2027.

PNR 2021-2027

For the first time, the initiative involves not only the academic world and that of public and private research, but also national, regional and local authorities, businesses, trade associations and trade unions, foundations, and social organizations, civilian and all citizens. The link with the European research and higher education area is also envisioned. Other innovations include new research approaches such as open science,
open innovation and mission-oriented research initiatives.

With the PNR 2021-2027, explains a note from the MUR, we want to set in motion “a participatory and dynamic strategic planning to contribute to the sustainable development of society and also give answers to emergency requests”.

The NRP “calls for identifying the strategies Italy intends to contribute to address the great global challenges, such as climate change and the reduction of the risks of natural disasters. For this reason, the document intends to leverage basic and applied research and policies oriented towards technological and social innovation, the involvement of
citizens and the transfer of knowledge and technologies in favor of businesses, public administration services and enhancement of communities and territories”.
